KING'S PARK BRASS

Keeping brass alive in Glasgow

Youth Band

Do you play a brass instrument? Are you aged between 9 and 15? Do you want to play in a brass band?

The band's youth band offers young brass players an opportunity to play in a brass band.

The youth band plays in concerts alongside the main band, and sometimes there is also the opportunity for the two bands to play together.

We also organise occasional fun events outwith the band, such as ten-pin bowling.

Our youth band is looking to recruit new players. So if you already play a brass instrument to any level why not come along? Players of cornet, trumpet, tenor horn, baritone, euphonium, trombone and tuba are most welcome.

Just get in touch with David Peat using the details on the Contact page. Rehearsals take place in King's Park Parish Church on Tuesday nights from 7pm to 8pm.

The King's Park Brass Youth Band is supported by the Scottish Arts Council.
