King's Park Brass

A brass band based in Glasgow, Scotland

King’s Park Brass will be joined by the wonderfully talented City of Glasgow Wind Orchestra on Friday 28th March to present Sounds of Glasgow.

KPB will be performing two pieces of original brass band music: Christopher Bond's Neverland, telling the story of Peter Pan, and Imogen Holst's The Unfortunate Traveller, inspired by her more famous father Gustav. And we'll round out our programme with a medley from the Disney classic Frozen.

Our guests City of Glasgow Wind Orchestra will also take a trip to the movies, featuring music from Star Wars and James Bond. They will also present the famous hymn tune Dear Lord and Father of Mankind, Irish Tune from County Derry (better known as Londonderry Air), and from the big band era, Sing, Sing, Sing, made famous by Benny Goodman

Entry is £8, concession £7, children free.
