Rehearsals

King's Park is located on the south side of Glasgow, about 3 miles from the city centre. The band rehearses in King's Park Church, 242 Castlemilk Road, Glasgow, G44 4LB.

Rehearsals are held on Tuesday nights from September to June. Youth Band and Learners meet from 6:30pm - 7:45pm, followed by the Senior Band from 8pm - 9:30pm.

From Central Station, there are 2 trains an hour to Kings Park/Croftfoot on the Newton line. Get off the train at Croftfoot (one stop after Kings Park). Exit the station onto King's Park Avenue, turn left and Castlemilk Road is a 5 minute walk away on the right.

From the city centre, take First Bus No. 75 from Ingram Street or Glassford Street. Get off at the junction of Menock Road and Castlemilk Road. Walk through the underpass under the railway line, and cross King's Park Avenue onto Castlemilk Road.

Parking is available on Castlemilk Road.
